Zoom Yoga Offerings
Practice from the comfort of your own home, or wherever you happen to be! Recordings provided so you can catch up at your own pace or practice on your own schedule.
Intro to Yoga
This four week series is the perfect place to start if you’re new to yoga. Each session will incorporate meditation, pranayama (breathwork), and asana (posture) practice. Don't know what those are? Worried about being able to do the poses? Don't have any special yoga props, or even a yoga mat? No worries!
All of these classes are classes you can do from home with no special yoga equipment. You'll want to make sure you have a sturdy, non-rolling chair and clothes you can move in, and perhaps a yoga mat, pillows, and blankets, but otherwise just come as you are, where you are.
Classes will take place via Zoom and recordings will be provided, accessible to you for 30 days after the class, in case you can't take class live or you want to revisit a practice.

Katonah Yoga combines asana and pranayama from a wide range of Hatha yoga styles with Daoist philosophy and modern knowledge of practices for longevity. Or to put it simply: Katonah Yoga is a sustainable practice for sparking joy.
This class is appropriate for all levels, from new students to experienced practitioners. All classes will include meditation, asana practice, and pranayama (breathwork) practices. Join Kim with an open mind ready to explore familiar practices in new ways!
Created by Nevine Michaan in Katonah, NY, this practice uses metaphor and analogy to weave together body, breath, and imagination. We identify the body as the abode, exploring the body as one’s instrument, the mind as the musician and the breath as the melody. The power of analogy allows the individual to use life experiences to define the personal and understand the collective.
Kim Struglinski, Founder of HOW Yoga, is one of the only Katonah Yoga certified teachers in Nashville, TN.
