Back to school vibes

It’s getting to be that time here in Tennessee: the school supplies are back in stores and kids are relishing the final weeks of their summer vacation. (And if you’re a fellow transplant from the Northeast like me, you might also feel like this is ALL HAPPENING TOO SOON!) Some of us are probably glad we’ve escaped the cycle of back to school, but here’s the thing: I know some of y’all are craving that back to school feeling too.

Back to school is a mindset. It’s a chance to continue learning, growing, and evolving. It’s a time to take the knowledge you have and test it, expand upon it, refresh your skills, and learn some new skills too. Back to school can happen any time of year but we’re especially excited for August and beyond this year because we have four new teacher training weekends on the calendar for the remainder of 2023.

We’re kicking off our training weekends with Fire Flow: Skillful Sequencing Strategies with Neda Honarvar (she/her, E-RYT 500, YACEP) August 11-13.

Join Neda for this weekend workshop designed to help you expand and refine the ways you sequence flow classes. We’ll explore shape-based and action-based approaches to both single-peak and multi-peak pose sequencing. You can expect asana, pranayama, and meditation practices, workshop-style explorations of the sequences and poses, lecture, Q&A, group exercises, and time for practice teaching.

We’ve got additional trainings scheduled later this year, too. Check out the schedule and get on the list to get first dibs on early bird pricing for upcoming events.
